My name is Josh
I am a visual artist with based out of Stowe, Vermont, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Chincoteague Virginia. I seek to capture those beautiful moments in life that are so often missed in our technology and media focused culture. I want to find what we have lost and share it with everyone who will take a moment to see what would normally be passed by.
My photography influences include Ansel Adams and Sebastiao Salgado. I believe there is a balance to be found between the broad landscapes of Ansel Adams and the more intimate pictures of humanity captured by Sebastiao Salgado. You can find the hand of God in every landscape, and every human face is a landscape in and of itself.
You can find beauty in nature, you can find beauty in humanity, in a world that celebrates and glorifies the negative I want to capture and celebrate that which is beautiful in everything.
